Advanced USEPA Dispersion Modelling

The Air Dispersion Modelling Guideline for Ontario (the ADMGO) provides guidance on complying with the dispersion model requirements of Ontario under Regulation 419/05 Air Pollution – Local Air Quality for Certificates of Approval Applications. The current approved dispersion models include SCREEN3, AERMOD, and ISCPRIME. However, all advanced approved dispersion models are subject to change at any time by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment (MOE). The approved dispersion models in the Regulation are required to be used when assessing compliance with the standards in Schedules 1, 2 and 3 (in accordance with sections 18, 19 and 20 of the Regulation) and the MOE Point of Impingement (POI) Limits.
Pollutech's Air Group has completed hundreds of advanced air dispersion modelling scenarios to evaluate contaminant concentrations at sensitive receptors and points of discharge. Our services have assisted our clients in securing Section 9 Certificates of Approval, identifying characteristics of plume dispersion from exhaust stacks of concern, and identifying the affectiveness of pollution control technology using Best Available Technology (BAT).
